Tropical Vanilla Smoothie
Ingredients:
1.5 cups almond milk
1 serving vanilla protein powder (I like Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel)
2 handfuls of spinach
1/4 cup frozen mango
1 - 2 TBS almond butter
1 TBS chia seeds
1 TBS hemp seeds
Optional: frozen zucchini
Optional: 1/4 of an avocado
Directions:
Soak the chia seeds in the almond milk in the blender for a few minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients. This allows them to soak up the liquid and it makes for a thicker smoothie. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend! Top with your favorite toppings. I like shredded coconut, bee pollen and/or granola. Enjoy!
