Smoothie

Tropical Vanilla Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups almond milk

  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder (I like Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel)

  • 2 handfuls of spinach

  • 1/4 cup frozen mango

  • 1 - 2 TBS almond butter

  • 1 TBS chia seeds

  • 1 TBS hemp seeds

  • Optional: frozen zucchini

  • Optional: 1/4 of an avocado

Directions:

Soak the chia seeds in the almond milk in the blender for a few minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients. This allows them to soak up the liquid and it makes for a thicker smoothie. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend! Top with your favorite toppings. I like shredded coconut, bee pollen and/or granola. Enjoy!
